Provide massage therapy to hospice patients to help ease their transition. Acupuncture is provided when necessary and appropriate for supplementary pain relief.

Conscious Wellness Center, Lake Highlands
Established a practice in Dallas incorporating acupuncture,chinese herbology, massage therapy and Reiki energy balancing.
Co-facilitate monthly auricular acupuncture detoxificaton/relaxationgroup.
Created Reiki Training program and offer regular classes in Reiki I-III.
Participated as a contracted acupuncturist in research study done through the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center on the effects of acupuncture on depression in bipolar individuals.

Conscious Crossings™, is a group that helps people prepare emotionally, spiritually and energetically for dying. This process has also been used to help people through other transitions in life aside from dying, e.g. divorce, with a combination of psychotherapy and energy work.

While running Soaring Crane Wellness Center, actively
supervised an acupuncture detoxification program in an
outpatient counseling center. Participants included both
mandated and voluntary participants.
Supervised the work of two to four Acupuncture Detoxification
Specialists/Counselors, ensured compliance with NY State
Regulations and continued competency in acu-detox
Technique.
Personally performed acu-detox technique with groups.

Maintained a part-time massage practice while
holding another full-time job, and then while
attending acupuncture school full-time.
Upon graduation from acupuncture school,
incorporated techniques into full-time holistic
health practice.
1998-1999 Counselor
Association for Children with Learning Disabilities, Long Island, NY
Assisted residents in two group home settings. One home contained
eight profoundly retarded adults, most of whom were also dual-diagnosed as mentally ill.
Duties included care and management of the residents, administration of medication prescribed by an MD and routine health monitoring, such as taking blood pressure. Received AMAP (Authorized Medication Administration Personnel) training through agency.
Second home contained nine highly-functioning young adults
and additional duties included assisting them in learning activities of
daily living.
